Your Initial Consultation
Your first appointment is a GP consultation with Dr Zia to assess your hair loss, review your medical history and arrange any blood tests needed to look for an underlying cause. A Medicare rebate applies to this initial consultation. If treatment is recommended, Dr Zia will explain your options, what to expect and the costs involved before you decide.
Treatment Options
- Medical treatments – prescription medicines to help slow hair loss and support regrowth.
- PRP therapy – uses growth factors from your own blood to support hair follicles.
- Low-level laser therapy – a non-invasive treatment to support hair density and thickness.
- Advanced regenerative therapy – treatments designed to support scalp health and hair quality.
- Hair transplantation – a surgical procedure performed by Dr Zia that moves hair follicles to thinning areas. This involves a separate surgical consultation, where Dr Zia will explain the procedure, risks, recovery and costs.
Results vary from person to person, and not every treatment is suitable for everyone. Dr Zia will discuss what is realistic for you. Treatment costs other than the initial consultation are generally not covered by Medicare.
